Cuban reggaeton artist Yosvany Sierra Hernández, popularly known as Chocolate MC, has broken his silence from prison to address the detention of fellow musician El Chulo, who is currently in ICE custody in the United States.

In a live broadcast alongside his sister Isis and content creator Polarih, Chocolate sent a message of support to the singer, whose real name is Abel Díaz Rodríguez.

"Abelito is a good person; everything will turn out fine for him," the reggaeton star stated, despite recent differences with El Chulo. "I won't mock anyone who comes in imprisoned. Being in jail is a sad situation."

During the broadcast, Chocolate admitted he couldn't help but laugh when he heard news reports alleging El Chulo's supposed links to the criminal gang Latin Kings, denying any involvement of the artist with criminal groups.

"We laughed at everything they're trying to pin on El Chulo. He's not a gangster. If they want to deport him, deport him, Donald Trump, but he's not involved with gangs. He's got a bit of weight. Abelito is one of the best. I love him for life. I'm praying for him," Chocolate expressed, referencing the current U.S. president's immigration policies.

Chocolate's message comes shortly after El Chulo reported harsh conditions at the detention center known as "Alligator Alcatraz," claiming detainees can barely sleep and receive inadequate medical care and medication.

Both artists are facing complex judicial processes, with Chocolate dealing with multiple charges in Miami-Dade and El Chulo grappling with his immigration status.
