Cuban Nail Artist in Miami Goes Viral with Hilarious "Before and After" Pedicure Video

Saturday, January 24, 2026 by Ernesto Alvarez

Cuban nail artist Yaile Hernández Cue, who goes by @yaicue on Instagram, has captured the internet's attention with a viral video showcasing a dramatic "before and after" pedicure transformation for her "lovely client." The client arrived at the salon with extremely dirty feet and long, broken nails.

In the video titled "Simple Pedicure," Hernández Cue shares her process step by step, infusing it with humor and exaggeration that have sparked a flurry of comments across social media. With a playful tone, the Cuban beautician even pours a generous amount of bleach into the water "to ensure those feet are properly cleaned," a gesture viewers understood as part of the parody.

The post, accompanied by the caption "If you liked it, leave a comment; if you didn't, leave a like," has amassed over 43,000 likes in just 24 hours and attracted more than three million views. The stark contrast between the initial state of the feet and the final result, featuring a nail design adorned with rhinestones and red flowers, has left no one indifferent.

Follower comments poured in immediately. Some joked that the client seemed to have "walked the Camino de Santiago barefoot" or had been "buried for a few days." Others humorously noted the use of a brush "to style the toe hairs," the moment when the nail artist pulls out "a poultry shear," or the supposed change in foot size "from 41 to 43."

"First, I went back to see if I really saw bleach, then if those were scissors, and finally the nail design that I don't think she can even walk with," one user commented with laughter, capturing the video's spirit of equal parts disgust, surprise, and humor.

Now living in the United States, the Cuban nail artist has carved out a niche on social media with her spontaneous videos and laid-back style, blending her nail artistry talent with a distinctly Caribbean sense of humor.

Her "simple pedicure" has become a sensation, and social media can't stop buzzing about it.
