President Donald Trump of the United States has disclosed intricate technical details regarding the military operation executed in Caracas to capture Nicolás Maduro, describing it as an "astonishing strike."

In an exclusive interview with FOX, Trump highlighted "Operation Absolute Resolution" as a testament to American military superiority.

He recounted that U.S. forces penetrated the core of a fortress housing thousands of troops and successfully extracted the Venezuelan dictator without any troop fatalities.

"There were some injuries, but no fatalities. A couple of brave helicopter pilots were seriously injured, but they are okay," he stated.

"His residence was inside a fortress with thousands of soldiers, and yet we went straight to the heart. Who would have thought this could be achieved without any losses? But everything was perfectly orchestrated. General Raising Cain and Pete Hegseth were fantastic, Marco has done a great job, the vice president too... the whole team is fantastic," he emphasized.

The President provided a detailed account of the maneuver, spearheaded by the elite Delta Force unit.

"Entering a fortress with thousands of troops, landing a helicopter right in the center, breaching a steel door of a fortified house, advancing through corridors firing, and extracting the target in just three minutes," he detailed.

"No one had seen anything like it. The 'secure' house wasn't so secure because our men had blow torches capable of cutting through steel like butter. They didn't need to use them, but they were ready," he added.

Observing the military operation "in real time" from his Mar-a-Lago residence, Trump reflected on the soldiers descending from helicopters by ropes.

"I thought: 'Could I do that someday?' They do it as if they were descending a ladder. They are on the ground instantly, ready to act. They are the best soldiers in the world, with the best equipment in the world. No one can match us," he declared.

Trump compared this operation to the 2025 Midnight Hammer Operation against Iran, a mission involving B-2 bombers.

He mentioned that although both are equally significant, the Venezuela mission has captivated public imagination due to its boldness and operational details, eclipsing previous military actions.

"This operation was similar. It has captured the public's imagination, possibly more than previous ones. But I believe all are equally important. Maybe eliminating Iran's nuclear threat is the most significant, but in terms of public attention, this goes beyond anything seen before," he noted.

The President praised the participating troops, labeling them "the best soldiers in the world," with "the best equipment in the world," asserting that no force can match the U.S. military's capability.

In this context, he announced an increase in the U.S. military budget for 2027 from one trillion to 1.5 trillion dollars, citing "real threats" that justify this increase.

Trump insisted that the decision to carry out the operation "wasn't difficult" and had bipartisan support, but claimed no one before "had the courage" to attempt capturing Maduro.

The new details provided by Trump build upon statements made days earlier from his Mar-a-Lago residence, where he described the incursion as an assault "unseen since World War II."

He revealed that the "extremely complex" operation was delayed for several days due to weather conditions: "We waited for the exact moment."

He explained that the incursion involved dozens of planes, helicopters, and fighter jets, executed after establishing direct communications between Florida and the ground in Venezuela.

Trump added that his forces were prepared to launch a second military wave if necessary, but it wasn't needed.

He defended the operation against congressional authorization criticisms, framing it as a message to countries like China, Iran, and Russia.

Trump described it as "a flawless operation," stating he had never witnessed anything similar in his experience overseeing military operations.
