"Stop the Criticism": Chocolate's Sister Defends Herself and Flor de Cuba Against "Inflator" Label

Thursday, January 1, 2026 by Isabella Rojas

Cuban national Isis Sierra, sister of reggaeton artist Chocolate MC, has openly responded to detractors targeting her and Flor de Cuba, who have been labeled "inflators" on social media. In an Instagram video, Sierra delivered an unfiltered message to those who, she claims, hide behind negative comments due to their fear of taking personal initiative.

“Flor de Cuba is an inflator, and so are you.” This is one of the comments I repeatedly encounter on social networks, and they almost always come from the same type of people—those who don’t have the courage to do what others dare to,” Sierra stated, maintaining a calm demeanor but speaking with determination.

Sierra emphasized that although she doesn't personally know Flor de Cuba (@una_flor_oficial), she holds her in high regard. “I admire her not for her wealth or numbers, but for her journey. Upon arriving in this country, she faced closed doors, lost businesses, and had to reinvent herself. Today, she promotes companies, collaborates with TikTok Shop, and has sold over a million dollars. So, is she an inflator? No,” she insisted.

Isis also took the opportunity to reflect on her own journey of overcoming challenges since arriving in the United States. “When I got here, people said I wouldn’t achieve anything, that I thought I was still in Cuba selling croquettes. I didn’t argue—I took action,” she recounted. Now, Sierra creates content focused on digital marketing, but she emphasized that her message transcends mere promotion: “When you call someone an inflator, you're not describing that person; you're describing yourself, your fear, your frustration. Stop the criticism and better yourself.”

The video quickly garnered messages of support and acknowledgment. "Your expression when you say ‘better yourself’ is a challenge," one user commented. Others added, “Exactly, both of you have succeeded through sacrifice,” “You are an example,” and “Literally, blessings.” Isis Sierra’s post evolved from a defense into a declaration of principles, applauded by many: move forward without regard for those who only know how to criticize.
