A 19-year-old man has been taken into custody in South Florida, suspected of involvement in a violent home invasion at the residence of rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine in Palm Beach County. The incident, unfolding in mid-November, involved the forced detention of the artist's mother while the intruders ransacked the property.

A group of masked and armed men broke into the house, demanding cash and car keys. Although the rapper was not at home at the time, his mother, who is in her 60s, was coerced into staying under watch as the intruders looted the residence.

According to a report by Local 10, law enforcement was able to identify one of the alleged perpetrators as Pedro Rodríguez, who resides in West Palm Beach. Detectives connected him to the crime through security footage, cell phone data, and recently recovered stolen items.

Evidence found in Rodríguez's home included belongings linked to the rapper's partner, clothing that matched what was worn during the robbery, and a weapon resembling the one used in the crime.

Rodríguez faces a range of charges, such as armed home robbery, grand theft, and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. He is currently held without bail in a county jail.
