In the fiscal year 2025, spanning October to September, U.S. pork and pork product exports to Cuba reached a remarkable $45.4 million, marking the highest level recorded "since at least fiscal year 1970."

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA/FAS) reported, drawing from Census Bureau trade statistics, that these exports doubled in fiscal year 2025 compared to the previous year.

Beyond pork, the total value of U.S. agricultural and related exports to Cuba rose to $476.1 million in FY2025, up from $398.9 million in FY2024.

Dairy exports also surged, reaching $31.1 million in FY2025, compared to $19.6 million in FY2024. Non-alcoholic beverages followed a similar trend, with values at $17.2 million in FY2025 and $14.5 million in FY2024, both the highest since 1970.
