A driver of a BAW truck is in critical condition following a crash that occurred early Saturday morning on the highway near Santiago de Cuba, approximately 5 to 10 kilometers before reaching the San Luis junction.

The incident, reported by the group "ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES por más experiencia y menos víctimas!", took place around 4:00 a.m. The truck collided with a National Bus that was on its Cienfuegos–Guantánamo route, identified as operation number 2938.
