A family in Holguín is appealing to the public for assistance in locating a lost bag that contained crucial documents.

Internet user Anyc Aballe reported that the missing items included a passport, a residency permit for Mexico, and irreplaceable family photos—essentially, "a lifetime of memories."

The bag went missing on Monday, and the family is urging people to share the information "among friends and other groups" to increase the chances of finding it.

"A reward will be given to whoever finds and returns it," stated the plea for help.

The individual who made the announcement mentioned that the bag was with her sister, who was offered a ride by a "very kind" man from the Maceo crossing. Unfortunately, the bag was either left behind or accidentally dropped during the journey.

The man is described as a resident of Vista Alegre, traveling on a red scooter.

The family believes the bag might still be in the vehicle or could have been lost along the way.

The post also mentions a reward for the finder and provides a contact number for returning the bag: +53 5 1144395.

In Cuba, it is not unusual for rewards to be offered for lost items or information regarding crimes, largely due to the ineffective response from authorities. Rewards have been provided for pets, important documents, and crime tips in the past.

For instance, in Guantánamo, a reward of 100,000 pesos was offered for information on a theft, while in Havana, $200 was promised for information leading to the capture of a thief caught on camera.
