Legmy Anguelov, a Cuban content creator known on social media as @legmyross, is currently experiencing a challenging period after a Spanish media outlet allegedly misrepresented several of her videos.
She disclosed that the unnamed media outlet's publications have sparked a wave of hateful comments and threats directed at her.
"As a Cuban residing in Spain, I produce content about the cultural contrasts and similarities between the two countries, often with a humorous twist. However, a Spanish news outlet has been distorting my words, giving them a different meaning, which ultimately incites hatred," she expressed in a video shared on her social platforms.
Anguelov has decided to temporarily halt this type of content to avoid fueling any controversies. "Cubans generally dislike these kinds of situations, but I feel it's important to share my experience because it's quite serious," she stated.
Despite the difficult situation, she has received supportive messages from followers across various nations, including Spain, who have praised her respectful approach to communication.
Legmy reiterated her commitment to creating videos with full respect for the country that has welcomed her and her family, expressing regret that her words have been twisted.
