"I hope one day the girl can see this video. I hope she can hold everything on this list I've made here because we are going to buy it for her in Jesus' name," Limay expressed as he displayed a sheet listing the items he plans to gather for the girl.
The artist mentioned that he has already purchased a backpack and is seeking to collect a tablet, seven dolls, seven stuffed animals, seven dresses, seven sets of shorts, seven pairs of socks, seven pairs of underwear, seven pairs of sneakers, seven pairs of sandals, a bicycle, a television, a rechargeable fan, a mosquito net, and some sweets.
"I'm going to post the list, and if you can help, great. If not, don't worry, I'll organize one or two events to buy all this," he stated on Instagram, where he also shared details on how to contribute.

Limay urged people not to politicize his actions, clarifying his motivations stem from his Christian faith: "This is not about politics. I am a Christian. My heart is set on doing something for that girl. I know there are many children like her, but today it's her turn. We have helped many others too."
The child abuse incident in Ceballos, Ciego de Ávila—where a mother brutally beat her daughter while another person recorded the assault—has triggered a wave of public indignation. Widely circulated images on social media show Elizabeth González Díaz violently attacking the child, leading to a campaign demanding immediate protection for the girl. The footage reveals the girl tied up in the yard, bleeding and terrified, while another child is forced to pour cold water over her head.
Soon after, the mother and her partner were detained by police in Holguín and remain in custody for questioning. Neighbors report that the woman was known for her violent nature and had a history of aggressive behavior.
Limay's new initiative adds to his numerous social aid efforts. Earlier in October, he sought support for children hospitalized with dengue, including his own nephew, amidst severe shortages of mosquito nets, repellents, and medicines in Cuban hospitals.
Weeks prior, a mother with three children arrived at his home pleading for food, an episode he documented on social media. Days later, he provided her with food and appliances, made possible by donations, reaffirming his dedication to helping the most vulnerable families.
Through his ministry, Cristo Cambia Vidas, the comedian has provided dozens of homes to those in dire need and consistently supports single mothers, the elderly, and sick children. "I've been doing this for almost six years, and it feels good to do good. Help me help," he has said on previous occasions.
