On Wednesday, the duo expressed their difficulty in connecting with some of these fresh faces in the digital exile community, citing the absence of any acknowledgment or gratitude following the arrival of the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU) leader.
Through a message on their X account, they noted, “Not a single influencer, TikToker, or podcaster has expressed gratitude. Many of you still have family under the dictatorship. You should be the ones fighting alongside Ferrer for freedom,” wrote the comedians, who have been outspoken critics of the Cuban regime and have been based in Miami for years.
The pair also criticized those who avoid political commentary out of fear of repercussions in Cuba. They stated, “No, I don’t talk because I have people in Cuba... Coward! You should be more vocal than anyone!”
