Dayamí La Musa Sparks Controversy on Talk Show: "You Rely on Me, I Say Whatever I Want"

The Cuban reggaeton artist Dayamí La Musa ignited a fiery exchange during her latest appearance on the show "Destino Tolk," where she fiercely defended Cuban artists and criticized the way, according to her, the show is run. "I have to say it publicly, many people think like me and have never told you to your face. You need to stop telling artists what they have to say on the show. I say whatever I want, I heat things up as much as I want, I speak about whoever I want, whenever I want. You can't tell me what to say. You have to respect me. You depend on me," she began.

"Shows rely on artists. Enough is enough. How long will you tell me what I have to say? I come to your show to give it prestige, to bring light to your channel. You offer me absolutely nothing in return," La Musa expressed, visibly upset.

The singer's remarks prompted an immediate response from the show's Dominican host, who denied having imposed any conditions on his guests. "We have never disrespected any Cuban artist here, and we have never said 'you have to say this or we won't air your interview,' so that's a big lie from you," the host replied, without directly naming La Musa in his response.
