The Heartbreaking Incident

On September 29, in the capital city of Isla de la Juventud, a tragic event unfolded when a nephew of the child's father's former partner, who has mental health issues, threw the baby from a second-floor window of a home located on Calle 35 between 26 and 28. Detailed information about the exact circumstances of the incident and the current situation of the individual who committed the act has not been disclosed.

There is no public confirmation regarding any ongoing legal or medical proceedings against the person responsible, who, according to family testimonies, suffers from unspecified psychological issues without a clear diagnosis. After the fall, the child was surgically treated when his brain began to swell 72 hours post-incident. Despite the medical team's efforts, the severity of his injuries proved too much, and after several days of battling for his life, the child passed away.

On social media, hundreds have shared messages of support and solidarity with the grieving family.
