The identity of the individual who tragically lost his life in a road accident on Saturday in Manicaragua, Villa Clara, has been disclosed, while one of the injured remains in critical condition. The deceased, Adalberto Armas Hernández, aged 37 and a native of Vueltas in the municipality of Camajuaní, was identified through reports from local state-run media.

Out of the ten reported injured individuals, seven are currently hospitalized. Among them, one patient is in the Intensive Care Unit suffering from a severe cranioencephalic trauma. According to the report, those diagnosed with multiple injuries are showing signs of improvement and it is anticipated that some may be discharged in the coming days to continue their recovery at home.

"Our team is working tirelessly to ensure that the injured receive the necessary care; we are closely monitoring their progress and providing full support to their families," said Dr. Leidy Saray Rodríguez Hernández, the general health director in Villa Clara. She extended her condolences to the family of the deceased.

Details of the Tragic Collision

The unfortunate incident took place on the La Moza-Manicaragua road in Villa Clara following a collision between a Polski vehicle and an ambulance from the "Ernesto Che Guevara" Industrial Military Company of La Campana, according to J Rodríguez R. Arimao, an official source connected to the MININT. Authorities have launched investigations to uncover the underlying causes.

Social media posts, notably from a profile identified as Héctor Tol Etón, indicated that ambulances took an hour to reach the scene and attend to the injured.
