El Chulo Criticizes Ferrante, Accuses Him of Boosting YouTube Views: "Bambini the Manipulator"

Monday, October 6, 2025 by Amelia Soto

Cuban reggaeton artist El Chulo sparked controversy on Saturday with a series of Instagram stories aimed at Roberto Ferrante, the producer behind Planet Records. He accused Ferrante of artificially boosting YouTube views to inflate the numbers. "Keep boosting your tracks... Soon your songs will have more views than Bad Bunny's, bambini the manipulator," El Chulo wrote, without naming names but clearly referring to certain musical releases that have garnered significant views in a short period.

While El Chulo did not directly mention any artists, it's likely his comments were aimed at Charly & Johayron, whose recent release "Una cosa de pi" has surpassed 500,000 views on Planet Records' channel. Alternatively, he might be targeting "Me está gustando lo que veo" by Oniel Bebeshito and Dominican DJ Adoni, which is nearing a million views. Both tracks dropped on Friday, coinciding with El Chulo's social media outburst. He has been publicly feuding with El Charly, making it probable that his indirect jab was aimed at him.

In one of the videos, after showcasing a full Balenciaga outfit alongside a luxury car, El Chulo got more specific: "From 250,000 to 300,000 organic views in the U.S., you have to trend. You're inflating, throw away the syringe. Enough with injecting every song. Let's say no to steroids." He highlighted that his track "La ex," a collaboration with Dany Ome, Kevincito El 13, Jacob Forever, and Wampi, achieved 1.5 million views in nine days and continues to trend, asserting that his numbers are genuine. "Bambi, you have a task now, and that's to surpass this hit," he wrote alongside the video.

This latest confrontation underscores El Chulo's unfiltered and confrontational style on social media while promoting his recent collaboration, which is directly competing with Planet Records' releases in terms of views.
