According to the latest information, one individual is in critical condition and has undergone surgery, while the remaining injuries are considered minor.

Current Medical Status of Victims

The injured have been treated at two medical facilities: the Faustino Pérez Hernández Clinical Surgical Teaching Hospital and the Eliseo Noel Caamaño Pediatric Hospital.

Dr. Gretter Robaina Rodríguez, the associate director at Faustino Pérez, reported that six adults were admitted to this hospital. Among them:

The Incident: Tricycle Plummets from Viaduct Bridge

The accident occurred on Monday morning when an electric tricycle with several passengers fell from the Viaduct Bridge into the San Juan River in Matanzas, one of the city's busiest routes. Images shared by journalist Pedro Rizo Martínez reveal the vehicle was heavily damaged after falling from a significant height.

Emergency and rescue teams, along with provincial leaders, promptly arrived at the scene.
