Cuban reggaeton artist Kevincito El 13 has firmly denied circulating rumors on social media and certain digital platforms suggesting that he and fellow musician Dany Ome are facing immigration restrictions from the U.S. government due to performances on the island. In an Instagram story video, Kevincito El 13 clarified that their European tour, initially scheduled for October, is not canceled but merely postponed due to his personal naturalization process in the United States.

"We need to stop the spread of fake news. People are paying too much attention to social media. Fans are reaching out to me, concerned if we have any issues... Folks, our European tour is postponed, not canceled," the artist confidently stated.

He further elaborated that he began the process of obtaining U.S. citizenship two months ago, and during this time, he is prohibited from leaving the country until the procedure is completed. "I applied for citizenship two months ago, and if you're familiar with the immigration situation in the U.S., you know why. That's why I decided to pursue citizenship two months ago, and now it's here; you shouldn't leave the country while in this process," he explained.

The urban music performer emphasized that neither he nor Dany Ome are facing any immigration or legal issues and urged his followers not to be swayed by unverified rumors. "It's not that we have any problems. Dany Ome and Kevincito have no problems whatsoever," he asserted, making it clear that as soon as his citizenship process is finalized, they will resume their international tour.

Rumors and Misunderstanding

Speculation about a supposed U.S. entry ban emerged after several social media profiles and digital outlets reported that the artists were barred from leaving the United States due to concerts held in Cuba, specifically in venues "approved by the Cuban regime." However, Kevincito El 13's direct statements refute these claims and clarify that the pause in their performances is solely due to personal reasons related to his immigration status.
