Isabella Ladera Sues Beéle Over Leaked Intimate Video: The Minimum Amount She's Seeking

Thursday, September 18, 2025 by Isabella Rojas

The Venezuelan influencer Isabella Ladera has filed a lawsuit against her former partner, Colombian singer Beéle, accusing him of leaking an intimate video of the couple that went viral on social media on September 7. According to court documents filed in Miami and reported by major outlets like Billboard and TMZ, Ladera claims that Beéle—whose real name is Brandon de Jesús López Orozco—either distributed the explicit video himself or provided it to others who then publicized it.

"Only two individuals had copies of these videos, and Ladera had deleted hers nearly a year and a half ago," stated her attorneys from Hachar Law Group. "The only other person who had access to the videos, according to Ladera, was Beéle, who made his intentions clear by refusing to delete them when Ladera requested it," the legal team added in their filing.

The lawsuit alleges invasion of privacy, cyber sexual harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence, asking for damages well above the legal minimum threshold of $50,000 for such cases. Ladera claims she has endured "shame, humiliation, and mental anguish as a result of the public exposure of her private matters and activities."

Their relationship, which began in December 2023, reportedly included Beéle requesting to film their private encounters during the romance. In May 2024, Ladera requested that he delete the videos, but according to the complaint, he refused and questioned her trust.

The controversy erupted when the video circulated on WhatsApp, rapidly gaining traction. On September 8, Ladera took to Instagram to publicly hold the singer accountable for the leak, calling it “one of the cruelest betrayals” she had experienced and labeling it as an act of violence against women.

Beéle, on the other hand, denied being responsible for the leak in a statement posted on September 9—later removed—asserting that he was also a victim of the unauthorized dissemination of the intimate content. His legal representatives have indicated that actions have been initiated both in the United States and Colombia to remove the content from digital platforms and preserve evidence under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

As of now, neither the singer nor his legal team has responded to further inquiries regarding the ongoing legal proceedings.
