Cuban content creator and musician Dany Baxter (@danybaxtermusic) frequently shares videos on social media where he sings to strangers while driving through Miami. One of his recent videos has gone viral due to an unexpected twist involving one of its main characters.
In the clip, Dany is seen driving and signals to the car next to him at a red light, which happens to be occupied by an elderly couple. The woman rolls down her window, and Dany begins to sing the well-known line, "No hay nada más difícil que vivir sin ti," from Marco Antonio Solís's song "Si No Te Hubieras Ido." The woman, recognizing the tune, smiles and joins in, completing the lyric. What could have been a brief, charming interaction took an unforeseen turn.
The woman's husband, who was behind the wheel, widened his eyes and shouted to the singing driver, "You can have her if you want!" He then rolled up the window and drove off as soon as the light turned green, leaving the musician astonished. Dany burst into laughter and remarked, "It was just a joke."
The amusing scenario sparked humorous comments and criticism towards the "grumpy husband." One commenter remarked, "What a bitter old man, poor lady should have left with the young guy." Another user suggested adding a "button to tell the lady to go ahead and divorce" in the comments.
While the husband's reaction might have been a "heavy joke," it didn't earn him any applause. Instead, the accolades from both the artist and the audience went to the wife.
