A 46-year-old woman, Sonia Comendador Sánchez, has been missing since the early hours of August 29 in the city of Camagüey. She fled her home by climbing onto the roof during a severe psychiatric episode.

According to information shared by her family members with activist Irma Broek, Sonia is currently in a state of mental imbalance, making it impossible for her to recognize even her own children. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a green jumpsuit and was barefoot.

Residents of Dama Street, where Sonia lives, reported that she left in the middle of the night, and no one could stop her. Her family immediately began a thorough search and have appealed to the public for assistance in locating her.

"Right now, she cannot recognize any of her three children. Any information would be greatly appreciated," stated Broek. She provided contact numbers for Sonia's sister, Juana, at +53 54506702, her cousin at +53 56930610, or +53 56520382.

The family has urged people to share this alert on social media and community outlets to broaden the search efforts and ensure Sonia's swift return home.
