Recently uncovered surveillance footage and an internal report from the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office have shed light on the murder of Daylon Fleitas González, a 37-year-old Cuban who went missing in Hialeah on August 3rd, only to be found dead days later in a recycling container in the Everglades.

The video, obtained by Univision's "Noticias 23", reveals that the crime occurred on August 3rd within a truck parking lot in Medley, a city neighboring Hialeah. The footage depicts the victim's body being placed in a recycling container.

In the video, Alfredo Carballo González, a 32-year-old Cuban who remains on the run, is seen approaching Fleitas's truck in the parking area located at Northwest 95th Avenue and 106th Street. According to the investigation, Fleitas had gone there to collect a debt of $10,000.

The police report accessed by Univision describes the sequence of events: "The victim and the suspect entered the victim's truck. Shortly thereafter, the victim is seen falling out of the vehicle, while the suspect drags him along the ground." Carballo then placed the body into a container, loaded it into the back of the truck, and drove away.

At that moment, another vehicle started following him, apparently driven by the suspect's partner, Ariely Álvarez Cabrera, a 27-year-old Cuban, accompanied by their five-month-old baby, Alain Carballo. Fleitas's black Ford F-150 was discovered on August 8th in southwest Miami-Dade, specifically at Southwest 210th Street and 203rd Avenue, with bloodstains and a backpack containing evidence, according to information obtained by Univision.

The following day, officers located the container in a nearby wooded area, where the body, bearing multiple stab wounds, was found by the medical examiner.

The police are actively searching for Carballo and Álvarez Cabrera, both originating from San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba, and considered "armed and dangerous." They are believed to be with their five-month-old son, who is under a potential danger alert. The Miami-Dade Homicide Unit is seeking the community's assistance in locating them and ensuring the child's safety.
