Flor de Cuba Embodies Homelessness to Launch New Content Creator Academy

Friday, August 8, 2025 by Daniel Vasquez

In an unexpected move to promote her new content creator academy, Cuban influencer Flor de Cuba captivated her audience with a striking video where she immersed herself in the life of a homeless person for a day. The video, shot beneath a bridge, showcases Flor with disheveled hair, chapped lips, pronounced dark circles, and torn, dirty clothing—her transformation was so convincing that it left many viewers stunned. She handled all aspects of makeup, hair, and wardrobe herself.

Flor didn't just act the part; she engaged with and spent time alongside homeless individuals to gain firsthand insight into their lives and authentically portray the harshness of their daily existence. “I was homeless for a day in the United States; I witnessed their way of living, shared moments with them, and some even shared who they were before ending up on the streets,” she revealed.

Beyond being a mere social experiment, Flor described the experience as “a work of art, created with limited budget but abundant love and talent.” The project reminded her of a challenging period in her own life. “This video was deeply meaningful because it brought back memories of when I lived on the streets. If you’ve ever had an addict in your close circle, you understand—they say addiction is like cancer for your brain and mental health.”

Through this heartfelt production, the influencer not only delivered a message of resilience and personal growth but also introduced her academy, aimed at teaching others how to become content creators and monetize their social media presence from home.
