Cardi B's Kids Enjoy a Humble Dominican Countryside Vacation, Captivating Social Media

Thursday, August 7, 2025 by Alex Smith

Cardi B's children are experiencing a vacation that's a far cry from the usual yachts, resorts, or private jets. Kulture and Wave, ages 7 and 3, have headed to the rapper's grandmother's home in the Dominican Republic to enjoy an authentic countryside experience, reminiscent of their mother's childhood.

A few days ago, Cardi B shared in a video that her children would spend nearly three weeks in a small Dominican town with a population of just 4,000. "They're used to living in a big house and having whatever they want... but I hope they have this experience and those memories," the artist remarked with a touch of nostalgia. No beaches or city lights here—just cows, mosquitoes, and deep-rooted traditions.

Stealing the spotlight on social media is Hennessy Carolina, Cardi's sister and the summer's star aunt. She shared the most heartwarming images of Kulture and Wave knocking down starfruit, running among fruit trees, and playing in the yard. "Grandma's house," Hennessy captioned, as if describing the world's most exclusive retreat. And in this case, it very well might be.

The internet was flooded with adorable reactions. "These will be their best vacations," one follower commented. Others fondly remembered their own summers in the countryside, bathing with a totuma, climbing trees for mangoes, and ending the day with dirt-covered feet. "This stays in your soul forever," wrote another user.

While some questioned whether the kids were accompanied by security or if Cardi had posted the videos with a delay for safety reasons, the majority praised her decision. "She's a millionaire, but she wants her kids to live like normal kids," one commenter noted. Many agreed that learning about one's roots is more valuable than any luxury.

Meanwhile, Kulture and Wave continue to enjoy their time among chickens, fruits, heat, and damp earth. Cardi B admits she misses them, but she also knows that these experiences will be etched in their memories forever. And yes, they are likely to return home with tales of cows, bugs, and starfruits, perhaps even with a Dominican accent.
