Yasmani Rodríguez, popularly known as Yas Personal Trainer and a coach for celebrities such as Georgina Rodríguez, recently took to Instagram to voice his grievances against Cuban influencer Carnota. Yasmani accuses Carnota of not only copying his concepts and ideas but also attempting to lure clients away from his gym.

The trainer shared a series of Instagram stories where he expressed his concerns about what he perceives as a significant breach of professional ethics. "While on vacation, with a peaceful mind and heart, I encountered something that compelled me to speak out. Not from anger or ego, but with respect. There are boundaries that shouldn't be crossed and values that are non-negotiable. Silence often shields what shouldn't be protected," he stated.

Yas recounted a past incident where he faced similar challenges: "Years ago, at one of my gyms, an instructor I trusted began secretly teaching my clients, lacking ethics, and exploiting what I built with hard work. When confronted, I was told, ‘That’s just business.’ I replied, ‘No, that’s how you do business. I don’t compromise my values.’ I left with my dignity intact, without stealing, copying, or destroying. I continued to grow with respect, effort, and heart."

The narrative took a direct turn towards Carnota, whom Yas had personally trained. Without mentioning names but showing his photo, Yas highlighted Carnota's transformation journey: "During that time, I trained many, including an influencer who was overweight, unmotivated, and undisciplined. I helped him change everything—not just his body but also his mindset and way of living. I invested time, energy, experience, and heart."

In another story, Yas accused this individual, now collaborating with others who previously acted unethically, of repeating old patterns: "Today, I see the same person, alongside others who have acted without ethics before, repeating the cycle. They copy concepts, replicate ideas, and worst of all, they insistently approach my clients, aware of my established classes, gym, and community built through years of dedication. Their actions don't affect me, but what hurts is the lack of ethics, loyalty, and integrity."

Shortly after, Carnota addressed the issue in the comments section of a post on "Un Martí To Durako's" profile, sharing his side: "Everything began with Run4Vibes, a project that organically developed without relying on his brand, and I say this respectfully. I simply invited my followers to run with me, and within weeks, a beautiful community emerged. People joined because of the vibe and the energy present. It's true some attendees came from my former gym, which seemed to cause discomfort. However, when something doesn’t originate from you and can't be controlled, sometimes ego speaks louder. I appreciate my time there, but one is free to change environments when necessary. I won't engage in controversy or share my full story. I'm closing this chapter and moving forward with what truly started it all: Run4Vibes."

Despite both parties claiming to move on separately, this social media exchange laid bare the underlying tensions within Miami's Cuban fitness community.
