The ongoing saga between Daddy Yankee and Mireddys González continues to capture headlines. After nearly three decades of marriage and a divorce fraught with financial disputes, the Puerto Rican reggaeton star has once more taken his ex-wife and her sister, Ayeicha González, to the Federal Court of Puerto Rico. This fresh multi-million-dollar lawsuit adds to a history of legal battles over the control of their music enterprises: El Cartel Records, Inc. and Los Cangris, Inc.

According to court filings, the artist accuses the González sisters of unauthorized access to emails and confidential files from these companies. Alarmingly, the lawsuit claims that this information was deliberately erased just as the legal control over the entities was being determined.

Daddy Yankee's legal team contends that this alleged sabotage disrupted key operations, such as the La Última Vuelta World Tour and the sale of his music catalog. Consequently, the singer is seeking $12 million in compensation, along with additional punitive damages.

This isn’t the first clash. Back in December 2024, the González sisters faced accusations of transferring $100 million from business accounts to personal ones without authorization. The divorce between Daddy Yankee and Mireddys was finalized shortly after, in February 2025.

Since then, the conflict has escalated through various legal channels. The latest lawsuit, filed on July 30, marks another chapter in a legal saga that shows no signs of stopping.

As of now, Mireddys González has not publicly commented on the recent allegations. In fact, following the case's exposure, she deactivated her Instagram account. Once considered one of the most stable and private couples in the Latin entertainment world, they have now ended up in a bitter and public legal dispute, overshadowing nearly 30 years of seemingly stable family life.
