Cuban actress and comedian Aly Sánchez commemorated her 18-year journey in the United States at a Backstreet Boys concert, sharing an emotional post on social media about her experiences since emigrating from Cuba. "It's been 18 years since I arrived in this country with a suitcase full of dreams, never imagining one of those dreams would be... singing 'I Want It That Way' live with my family!" she humorously and nostalgically shared on Instagram.

True to her comedic style, Aly didn't miss the chance to bring a smile to her followers by celebrating her "American coming of age" with a heartfelt performance of a song that brings back memories of her teenage years: "And what better way to celebrate American adulthood than belting out 'Backstreet’s Back, ALRIGHT' at the top of my lungs."

Known for her charisma, the artist expressed gratitude to the U.S. for welcoming her and allowing her to build a new life far from her native land: "Thank you, USA, for so many opportunities, for giving me a home far from Cuba, and for letting me keep dreaming."

"Today I don't celebrate alone; I celebrate with my loved ones... and with the 'Bastrid Boys,' as my 16-year-old self would say," she concluded with her signature humor.

Aly Sánchez can be proud of her professional accomplishments in the United States and the beautiful family she has created with her husband, Roberto Balmaseda.
