Kenny Robert Marks July 26 with a Satirical Dance to Communist Tunes

Sunday, July 27, 2025 by Claire Jimenez

Content creator Kenny Robert took to Instagram for a unique "celebration" of July 26, delivering a performance that was as offbeat as it was entertaining. In a playful display, he danced to a medley of communist anthems, all while dressed as his popular character, Jessica. Sporting a primary school pioneer uniform complete with a white blouse, red skirt, and the iconic red neckerchief, Kenny evoked laughter with his choreography that swung between attempted ballet and pure freestyle, set against the backdrop of classic anti-imperialist songs.

From "Riding with Fidel" to "Hasta Siempre, Comandante," and on to "Cuba Va" and "Revolution," the musical selection was a direct throwback to school assemblies, but with a sarcastic and irreverent twist that his followers thoroughly enjoyed.

The highlight of the video was the accompanying comment, which resonated with many of his fans. "To think that one day, eating crap, I sang this song with feeling in the morning assemblies," Kenny wrote, making it clear that those times of ideological manipulation are a thing of the past, and humor is his preferred tool to critique a date that celebrates dictatorship.
