Rachel Arderi recently found herself at the center of social media chatter after addressing a comment that sarcastically criticized her for showcasing her personal life on Instagram. "Weren't you the one who said you wouldn't share your private life?" a follower mockingly remarked, to which the influencer replied candidly.
"Sometimes we say and do things when we're feeling down and anxious, but over time, we realize that bad times pass and we learn from our mistakes. If there's something that brings me joy, it's my kids and my family. So why shouldn't I show that?" Arderi reflected. "I've long stopped worrying about what others think. I'm just happy, and you should be too. When we leave this life, no one will remember us," she added.
The content creator also shared a phrase her mother often tells her, which she has embraced in response to criticism: "My mom always says that happy people don't bother others, and that's all I have to say about my last reel."
Following a car accident in Miami, the model and influencer had expressed her intent to keep her private life off social media, which sparked the critique. Nonetheless, her response has been seen as a reaffirmation of her right to publicly enjoy her happiness, despite the criticisms or perceived contradictions from some users.
