Laritza Camacho, a Cuban broadcaster, has once again stirred social media with a sharply sarcastic and politically charged critique, questioning the absurd limitations in Cuba and highlighting the lack of common sense in the regime's decision-making. In a Facebook post shared on Monday, Camacho mocked the government's penchant for "capping" everything, from prices to personal opinions, while ignoring severe structural issues like wastefulness, institutionalized deceit, national misunderstanding, and official double standards.

“Why don't they cap wastefulness? Why don't they cap lies?” she questioned, her tone piercing. “It would be nice if a law prohibited telling lies over 0.2 megabytes... to start, without feeling too constrained,” emphasized Camacho, who has recently become a vocal critic of the regime, wielding her sharp and quick wit.

She also sarcastically addressed excessive beer consumption on beaches, the suppression of critical thinking, and common sense, which she claims is completely "capped" in Cuba. “We're paying dearly for capping common sense in Cuba. In my country, they want to cap even the basic laws of dialectics... No quantitative and qualitative leaps... If you don't jump, you're a Yankee, period,” she remarked.

The most striking part of her commentary was a metaphor on the nation's decline: “That's why our spiral moves downward... like a pig's tail,” a comparison that quickly brings to mind the dire state of Cuba's economy and society, as recently evidenced during parliamentary sessions. Camacho, known for her satirical and forthright messages, concluded with a sarcastic warning: “Dialectics? Capped. That's why our spiral moves downward,” reiterating her initial metaphor to underscore her critique.
