The search for Cuba's representative in the Miss Universe 2025 pageant has concluded. Lina Luaces, representing Santiago de Cuba, was crowned Miss Universe Cuba on Tuesday. She triumphed over 15 other contestants from across the nation in a night brimming with glamour, elegance, and excitement.

The competition featured 16 hopefuls who showcased their poise, charisma, and confidence as they paraded in swimwear and evening gowns. Sponsors also awarded individual prizes to various participants.

After the initial rounds, the judges narrowed the field to a top 10 based on individual interviews conducted over the weekend and months of preparation. Contestants were asked simple questions regarding Cuban culture when called upon.

The selection process then moved to determining a top 5: Lina Luaces from Santiago de Cuba; Sheila Laza from the Central Region; Lisbeth Fernández from Pinar del Río; Vanessa Villareal from the Eastern Region; and Mia Donadio from the Isle of Youth.

The final three contenders were Lina Luaces, Lisbeth Fernández, and Vanessa Villareal, with Lisbeth Fernández being named the first runner-up.

Lina Luaces, daughter of Cuban TV host Lili Estefan and niece to the iconic couple Emilio and Gloria Estefan, will now represent Cuba in the 74th edition of Miss Universe, scheduled for November 21, 2025, at Thailand's Impact Arena in Pak Kret.

Taking on this significant role, the newly crowned Miss Universe Cuba embarks on her journey to the international stage, where she aims to uphold her country's honor and vie for the coveted universal crown.
