The controversial Cuban artist Seidy La Niña surprised her followers by revealing her plans for the earnings she's generated on OnlyFans: she intends to run for mayor of Miami-Dade. "I've finally figured out what I want to do with my money. After much thought, I've decided to run for mayor of Miami-Dade," Seidy announced in a video she posted on her Instagram.

Expressing gratitude to the city that embraced her, the singer stated, "After everything Miami has done for me, this is my way of saying thank you." She also mentioned feeling ready for the challenge: "I feel like I'm at the perfect age, at a good point in my life, and above all, I feel prepared."

Despite holding bundles of cash in the video—a recurrent image in her recent posts that has sparked controversy—Seidy appeared serious about her political aspirations. However, not everyone took her announcement at face value. Many users saw it as another of her provocative stunts, though some wished her luck and promised their support.

"I know I need to change a few things, tone down my antics a bit, but I believe it's the best thing for me," Seidy acknowledged, switching between English and Spanish, possibly hinting at a new phase in her public life.

One of the most notable comments came from a follower who joked, "Oti doesn't like this video," referencing presenter Alexander Otaola. Otaola ran for the same office last year but was not elected and has a well-known rivalry with the artist.
