I remember how I left her and everything. And when you think about that moment…" she trailed off, her voice filled with emotion.
Despite the harshness of the migration process, Fernández also discussed how this life change allowed her to grow: "You start to understand that when you work hard and put in the effort, you can achieve as much as you want. There are no limits. But imagine having to uproot yourself," she shared.
