Saturday, June 21, 2025 by Albert Rivera

This Friday marked the debut of "Chaito Good Bye," the first posthumous release from Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger, who tragically passed away last October in Miami after being shot in the head. The song was unveiled alongside an emotional visualizer video, showcasing images of the artist with close friends, family, and fans.

At the beginning of the video, a heartfelt message reads, "Thank you for being part of this tribute. To everyone who joined and shared their photos, memories, and moments with El Taiger, thank you from the bottom of our hearts." The video is now available on digital platforms.

The release signals the beginning of a series of previously unheard tracks that El Taiger recorded prior to his untimely death. "With great love and respect, this release marks the start of a new chapter: a collection of songs that El Taiger left for you, his fans, so that his voice, art, and legacy continue to thrive," the production team announced.

"Today, we celebrate his music, his spirit, and the everlasting bond with his people. El Taiger lives on through his music and all of you," concludes the message. The premiere has sparked a strong emotional response among his followers, who have started sharing tribute messages on social media with the hashtag #ElTaigerPorSiempre.

"Chaito Good Bye" serves as the first glimpse into the posthumous legacy of the artist, a pivotal figure in the evolution of Cuban reggaeton, whose music continues to resonate deeply with his audience.
