An exclusive video has surfaced capturing the precise moment when Cuban reggaeton artist Yosvanis Sierra, known by his stage name Chocolate MC, was apprehended by Miami-Dade County officers at a Coral Gables hotel on April 26. The footage, released by Univision 23, details how officers tracked the artist to the Aloft Hotel after pinpointing his location through a live social media broadcast, during which the singer openly taunted authorities.
The operation unfolded in the early hours, as officers ascended to the building's sixth floor, searching for the room where Chocolate MC was staying. Initially knocking on the door of room 603 without receiving an answer, the officers proceeded to check other rooms on the same floor, eventually finding the artist in a different one.
Upon opening the door, Chocolate MC appeared shirtless, disoriented, and attempting to conceal himself behind it. He tried to cover up with a sheet when officers placed him in handcuffs. During the encounter, the singer exhibited signs of being under the influence of a substance while officers conducted a search of the room for evidence.
According to records from the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center (TGK), Chocolate MC was booked at 1:00 a.m. and is facing several serious charges, including armed kidnapping, attempted robbery, and possession of illegal substances.
