A 30-year-old man from Hollywood, Florida, tragically lost his life on Saturday night after being hit by two vehicles while attempting to sprint across the toll road near mile marker 251, close to State Road 417 in Orange County. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reported that the incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. when the man unexpectedly emerged from the edge of the forest, rushing into the southbound lanes.

Within moments, he was struck by a 2021 Toyota Highlander, followed by a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado. Both vehicles were traveling at highway speeds and could not avoid the collision, according to a report from FOX 35 Orlando. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have yet to disclose his identity as they are notifying his family.

The drivers, aged 30 and 36, immediately stopped and cooperated with law enforcement. Fortunately, none of the vehicle occupants suffered injuries, as confirmed by the FHP.

The reasons behind the victim's sudden dash into the busy highway remain unknown, and the Highway Patrol is actively investigating the incident.
