Yomil's Havana Pizzeria Hit by Theft; Offers Reward to Catch Culprit

Wednesday, June 4, 2025 by Bella Nunez

Cuban reggaeton artist Yomil reported a theft at his new culinary venture, Doping Pizzas, in Havana. The incident occurred even before the official opening of the establishment. "Early this morning, someone familiar with the layout of the new Doping Pizzas venue broke through the back door and stole a 75-inch television," Yomil shared in an Instagram story, visibly upset by the incident.

The musician voiced his frustration with both the police and the broader security issues plaguing the city. He expressed skepticism about the authorities' ability to resolve the case and warned that he might take matters into his own hands if he receives any leads on the culprit. "My aunt, who manages the place, wants to file a report, but I know it's pointless. I'm reaching out to anyone in Centro Habana or my neighborhood—if any shady character is trying to sell it or if anyone knows anything, let me know. I'll personally ensure it gets handled because all I need is to know who did it," Yomil stated.

Yomil blames drug addiction and crime for such incidents, saying, "Drugs and crime have driven all these shameless people crazy, and since the police won't solve anything, it's up to me to handle it my way."

His post quickly drew reactions from followers. One person commented, claiming to have seen a suspicious individual in the area with a television and promised to investigate further to assist the artist in retrieving his stolen property. "I don't want money or anything; if I find out more, I'll let you know. I was robbed recently too, and it's outrageous," the user responded, a gesture that Yomil publicly appreciated.

Although he did not specify a monetary reward, the tone of his message and his vow to "give a good reward" indicate his determination to reclaim his belongings.
