Cuban Woman Shares Chaotic Court Experience in Houston: "Be Careful"

A Cuban resident of Houston took to TikTok to recount the chaotic ordeal she faced while accompanying her mother to the Harris County Courthouse, where she claimed dozens were summoned at the same time for traffic-related matters. The user, known as @m_a_u_r_a_, recorded the scene as she and her mother arrived at the judicial building, only to find a line wrapping around the facility.

The video showcases numerous individuals waiting to be attended to outside on the street, enduring the sweltering sun. "I think they issued too many tickets and called everyone at the same time," she remarked, clearly frustrated. "You can imagine the frustration of people when they realized they had to wait under the sun. It felt like a field worker's afternoon with the scorching sun bearing down," she added.

Fortunately, she managed to secure a small table under the shade of a tree for some respite. Offering a word of caution, she advised others heading to court: "What I will say is to be careful on the streets, look at how the police were with the tickets."
