Although Hallel Genesis initially kept quiet about her breakup with Tekashi 6ix9ine, she had previously indicated that they parted on good terms. However, during a recent interview with Puerto Rican host Molusco, she revealed that the separation was not as amicable as it seemed. "We decided to go our separate ways because there were things I wasn't willing to tolerate, and I believe he wasn't ready to stop them either. So, basically, I said let's end it, and we ended on what I thought were great terms," the singer admitted.
Nevertheless, the aftermath was far from smooth. "I don't know what happened, but he started doing things that made me think, 'A normal person wouldn't do this,'" Hallel noted. After their breakup, she discovered that Tekashi had been reaching out to one of her close friends, "blowing up her phone," trying to create content with her. "I don't know how many missed calls, asking her to meet up at a club so someone could snap a photo from behind to create content. She declined, and he responded with, 'Tell me where you are, and I'll show up with Chanel bags,' and obviously, that didn't happen. I wonder why you would do something like that to someone you ended things with on good terms, someone who was never bad to you, quite the opposite," Hallel explained.
When asked if she felt jealous about his actions, Hallel was clear: "Not at all, I felt pity, that's the only emotion I have for him. It made me sad because I believe a happy person wouldn't act like that. I considered calling him to say everything on my mind, but I decided against it."
Regarding whether she ever loved Tekashi, Hallel quickly responded, "I cared for him a lot. Love is a very strong word; I cared deeply, but love is something you say to your mom or your husband."
