Independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada detailed the incident, stating a train ran over the boy's leg on Avenida Jesús Menéndez, near the Ron Don Pancho warehouses and Paseo Martí, where the railway line is located. "He was quickly transported to the South Children's Hospital, La Colonia Española," Mayeta added. The child lives near the scene of the accident.
