A covert operation in Miami has resulted in the arrest of three men, accused of attempting to solicit sex with underage girls at a local hotel. The sting, orchestrated by the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, the Human Trafficking Task Force, and the Miami Police Department, successfully nabbed these individuals who believed they were paying to engage in sexual activities with 12 and 14-year-old girls.

The operation was designed to ensnare sexual predators through a fake online advertisement that purportedly offered child sexual services. According to a report by América TeVe, undercover officers posed as adult women offering their supposed underage daughters in exchange for money.

Once the ad, which included a contact number, was posted, the men initiated communication and arranged to meet at a city hotel. Arriving separately, they proceeded with payment, at which point they were apprehended by law enforcement. The men taken into custody have been identified as Tito Xavier Gutiérrez, 38, and both Daniel Xavier O’Neill and Tangir Jamil Riman, 27.

These individuals face serious charges, including human trafficking, using technology to facilitate criminal acts, and traveling to another county with the intent to engage in sexual activity with minors. This week, they appeared in court before Judge Mindy S. Glazer, where the prosecution requested they be held without bail due to the severity of the offenses.

Michael Vega, a spokesperson for the Miami Police, emphasized that anyone attempting to participate in sexual acts with minors will be stringently prosecuted under the law. He assured that similar operations will continue to be conducted using varied techniques.
