Alexis Boentes, a well-known Cuban journalist from Telemundo 51, recently took to social media to share the exciting news that he is expecting a baby girl. Accompanying his announcement were captivating images of the moment he revealed the baby's gender.

"Thank you all! It was a joyous day when we could finally share that we are having a girl. Yes, we knew. It was a secret we kept for several weeks until the time was right to share this news," Boentes wrote in his heartfelt post.

Back in March, the journalist had already surprised his followers by revealing for the first time that he and his partner were expecting. "BREAKING NEWS: Baby on the way! The most important news of our lives is now front-page material: we're going to be parents! We are thrilled, grateful, a little nervous and counting down," he wrote, staying true to his news-style flair.

Originally from Esperanza, Villa Clara, Alexis Boentes embarked on his media career at a young age. He made his mark as a broadcaster and journalist at Radio Rebelde, COCO Radio, and Channel Educativo 2, among other outlets. Upon moving to the United States, he established a strong presence in Hispanic media and is currently a valued member of the Telemundo 51 team in Miami.

Boentes's contributions have earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Suncoast Emmy Awards. As he steps into this new chapter of his personal life, Boentes shows that his story extends beyond the microphones and cameras, with his most important role yet to come: becoming a father.
