Bus Driver in Cuba Caught on Video Berating Passengers: "Take a Plane if You Want"

A video uploaded to TikTok has sparked outrage among social media users, showing a Cuban bus driver harshly addressing passengers during a route from Havana to the Caraguao municipality. Phrases like "Anyone who wants to get off, go ahead," and "Take a plane if you want, there's no plane here, there's nothing here," were uttered by the visibly annoyed driver, as captured in the video shared by user @jesusdecuba.

The person filming from inside the bus claimed, "On the Havana-Caraguao route, the driver stops at every bus stop to pocket extra cash, and this is how he talks to customers." The driver's words quickly drew criticism from users who deemed the treatment unacceptable, particularly given Cuba's severe public transportation crisis.

One commenter expressed, "And we still have to pay the fare," while another remarked, "They complain when they're filmed, but what do you call this?"
