Is Hallel Génesis Throwing Shade at Tekashi 6ix9ine? Singer Surrounded by Men in Pool: "Please Respect, I'm Working"

Thursday, April 17, 2025 by Charlotte Gomez

The Cuban singer Hallel Génesis has once again taken the internet by storm, this time sharing photos that capture her "working hard" from a lavish mansion. In the images, she's seen in a bikini, drink in hand, surrounded by a group of men in a swimming pool.

"Please respect, I'm working. 'Lo Mejor Que Tuviste' will be available on Friday, can't wait for you to listen!" the artist wrote alongside the photos, which quickly garnered a flood of comments and reactions from her followers.

While her message might seem innocent, those familiar with her story with rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine immediately caught on to the underlying jab. Recently, Tekashi has been seen enjoying parties, surrounded by women, all while claiming to be "working." This time, it was Hallel who stole the spotlight, exuding queen-like confidence, surrounded by men, exotic fruits, and plenty of attitude. Coincidence or a stylish clap back?

It's speculated that these visuals are part of the music video for her new track "Lo Mejor Que Tuviste," set to premiere this Friday, April 18. Yet, amid the lights, cameras, and suggestive gazes, it was the underlying message that made the most noise.

The post sparked a viral wave of comments, including iconic phrases: "Oeeeee como dice el coroooo… ¡Respeten, car4j00000!" There were also jokes, compliments, and more than a few laughs: "Now that's a hard-working girl," "Whether it's marketing or not, you've nailed it," "Fire, trying to make 69 jealous," "This screams 6 9 marketing all over."

Breakup, strategy, or just playful teasing?

Although neither Hallel nor Tekashi have confirmed a split, both have removed photos together from Instagram and unfollowed each other. While silence speaks volumes, the visual hints are even clearer. Is this a marketing move? A classy revenge? Or simply an artist seizing the moment to shine?

Whatever the case, one thing is certain: Hallel has done it again, capturing the algorithm, the crowd, and Friday's excitement because "Lo Mejor Que Tuviste" is already making waves... and it hasn't even dropped yet.
