How La Dura Prepared for Her American Citizenship

Tuesday, May 21, 2024 by Bella Nunez

La Dura is overjoyed now that she is an American citizen; she spent several months diligently studying for this process, which she believes is not impossible but does require dedication and effort. Her Instagram followers were eager to know firsthand how she prepared for citizenship, and La Dura shared several tips based on her experience.

"I have been studying for almost six or seven months, dedicating one hour every day to study English with a tutor," she explained.

The partner of Jacob Forever mentioned that when she applied for citizenship, she received her appointment very quickly, in less than a month, and then focused her lessons on preparing for that interview.

"I memorized the 100 civics questions, which is very important because you don't know which ones they will ask. Out of those 100, they will ask ten, and you need to answer six correctly," shared the influencer, who also advised her followers to prepare for possible interview questions.

La Dura added that it is crucial to show that you understand what is being asked and that you are making an effort to communicate in their language.

"In my case, they asked me questions that had nothing to do with the interview. They asked how I got there, how the weather was outside, and from the moment you enter, they are testing if you understand them and if there is communication. I understand 90% of the language; maybe I don't speak it perfectly yet, but I am working on it, and one day I know I will achieve it," she said confidently.

"There is nothing in life that you set your mind to that you can't achieve. Have faith, stay positive, and be one hundred percent prepared," was the message La Dura conveyed to her followers.
