The Cuban artist Miroelkis Matos made the judges of the American TV show “Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento” dance to the rhythm of his salsa rendition of the song “Idilio,” captivating everyone with his talent and flair.

In a video posted on the show's Facebook page, the 30-year-old Miami resident shared with the panel his motivation to fulfill his dream of helping his son and the rest of his family who live in Cuba. To achieve this, he expressed his determination to win the contest, choosing the song "Idilio," composed by Puerto Rican artist Alberto "Tití" Amadeo, as his winning piece.

“If I win, I could help my family, bring my son here with me, and give him a future,” said the young artist, further moving the judges. He also dedicated the performance to his son, who was celebrating his birthday in Cuba.

Matos explained that he left the Caribbean nation two years and six months ago to live in Chiapas, Mexico, and only moved to Miami, United States, four months ago. Although the Cuban flavor was evident in his singing and dancing, the artist Ana Bárbara asked if he was nervous.

However, the Cuban gave a response that drew sighs: “Actually, I am overwhelmed. For us Cubans, it is a dream to meet people like you,” he said, referring to the judges, who are well-known artists.

Regarding the Cuban flair, another jury member, singer and composer Don Cheto, noted, “If you’re not Cuban, it doesn’t come out the same.”

Matos joins a long list of fellow Cubans who have taken the stage on the show “Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento.” The couple Manuel and Llenay, residents of Miami and 25 and 24 years old respectively, impressed with their mast act.

Before their performance, the young couple said they felt very excited and mentioned that their act would surprise the audience and the judges, according to the show's YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, Sinthia Echavarria, a resident of Tampa, Florida, amazed with a unique style that blends Cuban and Mexican cultures, leaving the judges of “Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento” astonished. This 42-year-old Cuban performed her own creation, the song “La de los pantalones aquí soy yo,” a corrido tumbado, while dazzling with a daring outfit and impactful stage presence, as seen in the video posted by the talent show on their Facebook page.
