A Publix shopper struck it rich this Saturday, becoming a multimillionaire after purchasing the winning Florida Lotto ticket at a store in Manatee County. The lucky ticket holder claimed the grand prize of an estimated $4.25 million by matching all six winning numbers in Saturday night's draw: 2, 11, 15, 16, 18, 26, as reported on the Florida Lottery website.
The winning ticket was bought at the Publix located at 13150 State Road 64 East in Bradenton, on Florida's west coast. The identity of the fortunate individual has not been disclosed. The next Florida Lotto drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, with a jackpot of $1 million.
Previously, on April 10, another person won the Florida Lotto's major prize of $11 million after purchasing their ticket at a gas station in Pompano Beach, Broward County. Just three days later, another lucky winner took home a million dollars with a ticket bought at a Publix in Homestead, in southern Miami-Dade County.
The Florida Lotto drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11:15 p.m. (ET). Tickets are priced at $2 and can be purchased up until 10:55 p.m. (ET) on the day of the draw.
