On the occasion of the XVII Festival Festival of the Drum of Cuba "Guillermo Barreto in Memoriam" held in Havana from March 4 to 10, 2019, the official Facebook page of the contest has shared a video showing the talent of a Cuban girl who is part of the history of the contest.

The 7-year-old girl named Sheleinys Oduardo Acosta, was one of the big winners of the last edition, being a winner in the rumba section with the minor Estevan Pérez Navarro.

In honor of the great performance he did in his day, the academy wanted to remember one of the moments in which Sheleinys won the hearts of both the public and the members of the jury.

"This girl was the winner in the last festival! With only 7 years old children's prize in Columbia and won popularity." De Matanzas "are the words that accompany the material.

This celebration of Cuban music and dance has not only been joined by groups from the island such as Yoruba Andabo and Samuel Formell and Los Van Van, but also international artists such as the Spaniards Ketama and Falete.

Giraldo Piloto Barreto, president of the Drum Festival, commented that one of the great moments that the festival will live will be the collaboration of Ketama with Klimax and the Alain Pérez orchestra, in a concert that will take place next March 6 in the Karl Marx theater in Havana.
