Three of the best chefs in the world, Italian Massimo Bottura, the Spanish Andoni Luis Aduriz and the Mexican Enrique Olvera will travel to Havana in December to explore the market to open a restaurant, today unveiled Olvera in Mexico City.
"We believe that in the months or years to come will be a strong opening in Cuba and we want to get into that opening," said the Mexican chef, owner of "Pujol" restaurant in Mexico City, considered the best in Mexico and one of the best in the world.
"We will see local and understand a little better how the market works," said chef in a meeting with foreign correspondents at his restaurant. "It's crazy, it's a dream, an ideal. It will be realized. We are going in December."
For restaurant project, the Mexican chef imagines a casual, fun place, with live music, and not too expensive. And he ventured a name for the project: "Pasta, pinchos and tacos."
