Senators Jeff Flake (R-Arizona), Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont) and Mark Warner (D-Virginia); Roberta Jacobson, Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs and chief of the negotiator team with Cuba, and Cuban government diplomats were among the attendees on Wednesday at the official presentation of the bipartisan anti-embargo coalition Engage Cuba, at The Partisan bar in the US capital.
Engage Cuba, managed by Steven Law (R) and Lucas Albee (D), two veteran political operators, aims representing major business groups and NGOs in order to lobby for an end to sanctions and open the Cuban economy to more business and tourism from United States.
