In Cuba, the details are being finalized to hold the V International Meeting on the Company and its challenges from corruption. The event will feature the participation of specialists in the field in order to achieve a better world.

Over 350 representatives from some 20 countries in the Americas, Africa and Europe have confirmed their participation in the appointment of three days, the first edition happened in October 2001.

Along with the hosts will be delegates from Venezuela, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Brazil and the International Monetary Fund experts.

Also include specialists from Russia, Spain, Mozambique and Guinea Bissau, according to the coordinator of the meeting, Miguel Angel Garcia, chief prosecutor of the International Relations and Cooperation of the Attorney General.

To a question by Prensa Latina, Garcia stressed that this meeting will be the largest participation of all those made earlier, and represents another example of the actions of Cuba to improve its social model.

The main objective of the meeting, with high scientific, is to exchange experiences in a fraternal and democratic climate, he said.

The program will develop six special presentations, including the Cuban vice president and comptroller general, Gladys Bejerano, 13 lectures, two thematic workshops, 10 presentations and a panel discussion.

Speakers at the meeting will be Antonio Mazzitelli, regional representative for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean Office of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Corruption.
